I had to twist a few arms (and break a few legs) to get this article on Provillus posted here on hairlosshaven.com. One thing I will say about this site is that there are a variety of different opinions (some would call them strange) about hair loss and what will work to deal with the problem. I don’t necessarily agree with some of the hair loss treatments that are recommended on this website, but I do understand why they are recommended.
Not that there’s anything wrong with those particular products. It’s just that I think people should stick to lab tested prescription drugs like Propecia and minoxidil. Of course, Provillus includes minoxidil, but I am not necessarily a fan of the Ultra Herbal company in general. One thing I do not like is that they are constantly changing up the formula. That’s not good when someone buys a product expecting one thing and they find something else instead. They might have changed up website description, but there are quite a few reviews that include the old formula. Also, not everyone will sort through that silly little website every time they reorder the product.
At one point, I looked up the website and noticed that all they were selling was the minoxidil topical treatment. Well if that’s the case then you’re better off just picking up Rogaine. Don’t really need Provillus if they only include the topical treatment.
I would also say that I’m not necessarily a fan of products that include saw palmetto, nettle root and a combination of herbs and minerals. They’re pretty much hit or miss when it comes to slowing down hair loss. In some cases nettle root actually causes more hair shedding. So I’m not really big on the provillus ingredients.
I will say that if you absolutely need a treatment that’s natural and you have already done your research and know what ingredients that you would like to use then Provillus is good for that. Most people who use herbal supplements for hair growth believe in that sort of treatment plan.
If you do your research and you still feel that saw palmetto and nettle root will help you with hair loss then there is nothing I can say. Provillus is probably what you’re looking for. However, if you are looking for treatment of any kind that you are most certainly better off with a combination of FDA approved finasteride and minoxidil.
