Grooming and It’s Effects on Hair Loss

Don’t comb your hair when it is wet

Some might be tempted to comb hair when it is wet but, the stress on the hair shaft could potentially damage your hair over time.

Don’t over brush your hair

I know everyone’s seen or heard of someone brushing their hair 100 times a day. You could actually damage your hair considerably by over brushing it like that. It’s fine for TV personalities but in reality excessively brushing your hair could contribute to hair loss.

Don’t over shampoo your hair

It’s always good to have your hair and scalp clean but, you shouldn’t constantly shampoo your hair. Shampooing could actually strip your hair of the nutrients it needs to prevent hair loss.

Make sure you choose the right shampoo

Don’t buy a shampoo that doesn’t have a pH level of 5.5. Shampoo and conditioner combos are often very weak. You’re better off buying both a shampoo and conditioner. The standalone products are much more powerful.

Don’t use certain anti-dandruff shampoos

Some of them contain formaldehyde, selenium sulfate, and polyvinyl Pyrrlidonewhich are all toxic and unhealthy. If you’re looking for anti-dandruff shampoo look for one that contains Nizoral.

While Shampooing…

Make sure you pour the sample into your hands instead of putting it into your scalp. If you pour it into your scalp it can gunk up in one place causing you problems.
