Scalp Med Review

If you had trouble with hair loss for a while now, you probably know that the treatment products market is infested with poor quality, no-results pills, lotions and whatnot. It’s really difficult to separate the crap from the stuff that works, because most hair loss prevention products are expensive enough not to allow a lot of testing.

Absolutely No Results

After several unsuccessful attempts with various products, a friend recommended Scalp Med, supposedly one of the leading hair loss treatment medications around.

You can imagine that after having absolutely NO RESULTS with the other products, I was happy to see slight signs of improvement after using Scalp Med. Admittedly, having to apply the lotion each and every night before I went to bed, then having to wash it off in the morning wasn’t my idea of fun.

Seeing how for most people the positive effects of Scalp Med kick in after around 4-5 months, you’d best start integrating applying the lotion in your daily routine.

Was Scalp Med Effective?

Although Scalp Med was somewhat effective, I grew tired of having to go through the nuisance of applying and washing it, so I looked around on the Internet and found another product that was getting great reviews and testimonials: Provillus hair loss prevention pills.

One of the main advantages that Provillus has over Scalp Med is that it’s easier to drink a pill each night before going to bed than applying a hair growth lotion like Scalp Med, then washing it off in the morning.

ScalpMed Versus Provillus

The time Provillus proved itself effective was slightly shorter than that of Scalp Med. Whereas the latter started having noticeable effects after around 5 months, with Provillus, I could already see an improvement after just 3 months (3 months is an extremely short amount of time in hair loss world).

Some may argue that if you’ve been suffering from hair loss for 10 years, 2 months won’t make that much of a difference anyway. Well to me it did make a difference, because I was already on the edge due to my ever growing baldness.

Put it this way, if you’ve been suffering from erectile dysfunctions for 10 years and someone told you they have two products that could fix you up, one treating you in 3 months and the other in 5, would you not go with the faster one?

Of course you would, with issues such as hair loss and erectile dysfunctions, every day that you can save counts.

The Big Difference Between The Two

One other thing that I really liked with Provillus in comparison to Scalp Med is the balance in can bring to your growth/loss ratio.

Whereas Scalp Med focuses mostly on stopping hair loss, Provillus also encourages hair follicles to grow back up quicker, which was an extremely important factor for me. When you’re half way through to being completely bald, do you care about what’s left of your hair falling off, or growing back the one you lost?

This is where Provillus really won the fight for me and even though I wouldn’t discharge Scalp Med as worthless or ineffective like I’ve seen in some other reviews around the net, I’m definitely going to go with the pills from now on. Speed, efficiency, comfort and the price/value ratio are all in favor of Provillus, so there’s really no contest from my point of view: Provillus kicks Scalp Med’s butt big time.
